Help Save Floyds Fork by donating your scrap metals at River Metals Recycling on River Road in Louisville, KY on Thursday, April 20 - Sunday, April 26, 2026!

WHAT: Now through April 26th the Future Fund Land Trust will be celebrating Earth Day with the help of River Metals Recycling in Louisville and New Albany. They have chosen to make a donation to the Future Fund Land Trust based on the volume of business for the day!
We encourage everyone to take some time this weekend to gather your scrap metal to donate to a great cause to save Floyds Fork! Your Spring cleaning can help us preserve more land from development along the Fork.

Throughout the year people can always visit any of the Louisville area locations and donate their materials by requesting their donations go to the Future Fund Land Trust! They have locations on Camp Ground Road, Grade Lane and River Road. They focus on separation processes to extract every ounce of metal in the recycling process and are dedicated to reducing the volume of materials sent to landfill.
**They accept non-ferrous scrap (aluminum, copper, brass), ferrous scrap (iron, steel, autos… metal that sticks to a magnet), and electronic scrap (circuit boards, laptops, hard drives).
